We only use granular fertilizer. Yeah, it's more expensive and time consuming, but we want to do things right. Liquid fertilizer has come a long way and is marginally effective but it simply cannot compete with tried and true granular. There is a long list of minerals in each grain that is slowly and consistently released into your soil. You don't have to stay off it or wait for it to dry; you can get back to enjoying your yard immediately.
